Our story

At J&J Contractors, Inc. our senior management takes pride in their commitment to continuously improving our safety program through best practices and holding everyone accountable for safety. We take whatever steps are necessary to make sure that we have ZERO injuries. We believe that all accidents are preventable and continuously invest in our safety program to make sure we are successful in our endeavor to keep our workers safe.

We have a safety committee comprised of management and field personnel who meet monthly. We have a skilled and educated safety department comprised of safety professionals who are led by a dedicated safety director. We create custom classroom and online training programs for all aspects of construction that we perform and/or supervise. We continuously perform internal safety inspections so we can be proactive instead of reactive. We conduct weekly toolbox talks on all of our jobs relative to the work that is being performed.

We also believe in catching workers doing the right thing. This is why we have a safety incentive program that is aimed at getting everyone involved in “seeing safety”. As we like to say, “If you see something, say something.”
