J&J Contractors, Inc. was contracted by the US Army Corps of Engineers to Design and Construct the 40,000 SF Management Acquisition Facility on behalf of the US Air Force.
A two-story office building, one of the main requirements was to allow for the future expansion of the building from one of its elevations. J&J and its’ designer, BBIX worked cohesively with the government to design the attributes of that elevation to allow for an “easy” connection of the addition in the future.
As part of the project, J&J was required to develop the FFE plan and procure all the furniture.
Adjacent to the building, J&J constructed a parking lot for the occupants. Unsuitable soils beneath the parking lot required the installation of geotextile fabric to stabilize moving of the unstable soils.
